<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. <Responsibilities>
- Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, and settlement negotiations
- Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence
- Conduct thorough legal research related to personal injury law and relevant statutes to support case strategies
- Manage case files using legal case management systems and document review platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases
- Schedule appointments, depositions, court appearances, and client meetings while maintaining organized calendars
- Draft reports, summaries, and other written materials with precision, ensuring clarity and professionalism
<Qualifications>
- Proven paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury law or related practice areas such as workers' compensation or litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools including Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PCLaw software for case management
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes such as document management systems and document review procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports with attention to detail
- Proficiency in conducting interviews with clients, witnesses, or experts to gather relevant case information
- Experience handling legal research related to estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law or other specialized areas is a plus but not required
- Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and phone etiquette
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards
