Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. We specialize in residential windows, doors and finish carpentry projects throughout Southern California.We are looking for someone responsible, shows up on time, can work on their own and with a team, know your way around a jobsite and takes pride in their work. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and ensuring the perfect fit of windows and doors and making sure our clients are always happy with the end results.
Duties
- Work independently or alongside a crew to complete projects efficiently and professionally
- Perform finish carpentry including casing, baseboards and jamb extensions.
- Handle glass materials carefully during transportation, cutting, and installation to prevent damage
- Install windows and doors securely using appropriate hardware, caulking, and sealing techniques for optimal performance
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, fabrication framing and hardware installation.
- Perform heavy lifting safely when moving large glass panels or heavy door units on-site
- Conduct quality control checks on measurements, installation alignment, and finish details to meet project specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite
- Represent The Window Factory professionally with customers and contractors
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and glass safely
Requirements
- Valid California's Driver's License + Social Security Card
- Proven construction experience with a focus on window or door installation
- Proficient with construction tools including: Miter saws, table saws, circular saws, routers, nail guns, drills, impact drivers, and laser levels
- Experience with glass materials handling and glass installation techniques.
- Reliable truck or work vehicle + tools
- Familiarity with construction plans related to metal stud framing and fabrication processes
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, climbing ladders or scaffolding during installations
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install finish materials
