DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Registered Nurse who actively participates in procedures conducted in the scope of the cardiology services both diagnostic non-invasive and invasive. Assists in patient and staff education. May assist with the pre and post care of patients having procedures in the Vascular Laboratory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current Illinois license with biennial renewal.
Completion of an arrhythmia interpretation course.
ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
PALS certification recommended.
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
Personal
Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
