Basking Ridge Country Club is seeking Banquet Servers to support weddings, member events, tournaments, and private functions throughout the season. This role is ideal for hospitality-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while providing exceptional guest service.
We are looking for team members with flexible availability who can work a varied schedule, including weekends and event-based shifts. Average shifts are typically 7–8 hours.
Compensation
- $17.00 per hour plus non-guaranteed tips
Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications
- Provide attentive food and beverage service during events and functions
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude with members and guests
- Assist with clearing tables, resetting spaces, and post-event breakdown
- Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout all banquet operations
- Communicate effectively with banquet leadership and culinary teams
- Follow all food safety and service standards
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, banquet, restaurant, or serving experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional under pressure
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/tray carry as needed
- Flexible schedule with availability to work 4–5 days per week, including weekends
