- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and appealing by performing regular stocking and inventory checks
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create a positive shopping environment
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in team settings
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math enhances performance in this role
- Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers and team members alike
