Be part of launching a brand-new KidsUnited location in Appleton. We help kids ages 1.5 to 9 years build confidence, coordination, soccer skills, and life skills through fun, structured classes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead fun, high-energy classes for kids ages 1.5 to 9 years old
- Follow the KidsUnited curriculum and class structure
- Help kids build confidence, coordination, body control, teamwork, and soccer skills
- Create a positive, encouraging environment for kids and families
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress through daily parent feedback
- Keep classes safe, organized, and engaging
- Assist in the ongoing design of KidsUnited training program
- Attend ongoing trainings and team meetings to continue professional development and uphold program standards

- Kids are engaged, active, and excited to come back
- Parents feel welcomed and confident in the program
- Classes run smoothly, safely, and on schedule
- Coaches are prepared, dependable, and positive
- Kids grow in confidence, coordination, and soccer skills over time
Schedule & Pay
- We have opportunities for both smaller part-time schedules and larger, more consistent weekly schedules.
- Classes are held weekday afternoons/evenings from approximately 3:15–8:30pm and weekends from approximately 8:15am–2:30pm
- Coaches must be available for August 25-30 for training and the grand opening weekend. Hours will be Tuesday-Friday 12pm-8pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm.
- Coaches must be available for at least 3 shifts per week
- We are hiring for consistent weekly schedules ranging from 3 to 6 shifts per week, based on availability, experience, and class needs
- Expected hours are approximately 15–33 hours per week
- Evening and weekend availability is required
- Pay: $18–$22/hour based on experience
What We’re Looking For
- Soccer experience is required, either as a player, coach, or trainer
- Experience working with children is required
- Qualified candidates should have either: at least 6 months of youth soccer coaching experience, or at least 1 year of experience working with children, combined with a background playing soccer
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and teammates
- Good time management and organization skills, with the ability to keep classes moving and on schedule
- Comfortable leading kids through structured activities and following the KidsUnited curriculum
- Positive, dependable, energetic, and coachable

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Do you have at least 6 months of youth soccer coaching experience, or
at least 1 year of experience working with children, combined with experience playing soccer?
- This position will be part-time, with regular hours being decided between the employee and management. However, the employee chosen for this position MUST be available for their initial training and our Grand Opening weekend with the following schedule:
Tuesday 8/25 to Friday 8/28 – 12pm-8pm
Saturday 8/29 and Sunday 8/30 – 8am to 4pm.
Please confirm that you are available to attend the entire coach's training and grand opening weekend with from 8/25 – 8/30 with the hours listed above.
