Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking, hands-on team member who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment. This is a physically active role that requires someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and ready to tackle a variety of tasks each day.
No two days are the same—this position involves material handling, equipment operation, job site support, and general labor.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials at the shop and job sites
- Deliver materials to job sites (including large commercial projects)
- Drive company vehicles with trailers to pick up and transport materials (1–2 times per week, including trips to the Des Moines area)
- Organize and place materials in proper locations at the warehouse and job sites
- Operate equipment such as skid loaders, dump trucks, and other machinery
- Assist with site prep tasks such as moving dirt, leveling, and general labor
- Support a variety of tasks including mowing, rock picking, and site cleanup
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues when they arise
- Follow directions while also working independently to complete tasks efficiently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs repeatedly; occasionally large volume loads)
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record required and must be insurable under the company's vehicle insurance policy
- CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain a CDL after hire
- Experience pulling a trailer preferred
- Experience operating skid loaders, dump trucks, or similar equipment preferred
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Comfortable with a flexible, changing schedule

Compensation
- Hourly pay based on experience
