Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take beverage and food orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to enhance the dining experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options using established recipes and creative flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Process cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the guest experience while staying within operational guidelines
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste through proper handling
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods such as banquets or catering events
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Proven experience in food service environments with a focus on fine dining, catering, or banquet settings
- Strong cocktail mixing skills with a solid understanding of mixology principles and spirits expertise
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse needs professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer trends
- Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices in hospitality settings
