Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CNC, Laser & Digital software operator to join our marine fabrication team. This position is responsible for operating full-size CNC & laser cutting equipment to produce PE & EVA foam marine flooring, yacht decking, templates, acrylic panels and custom letters for backlit LED yacht names & other specialty marine components. The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC & laser cutting machinery, working with CAD drawings, digital scanning and mapping systems to produce high-quality finished products for boats, yachts, RV’s and other applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC routers, knife cutters, or other laser cutting equipment.
- Cut custom marine flooring from EVA foam, synthetic teak, vinyl, acrylic, composite materials, and other specialty products.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings, digital templates, and production work orders.
- Load materials, select appropriate tooling, and verify machine settings before production.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet dimensional and cosmetic standards.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain accuracy and minimize material waste.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Label, package, and prepare finished products for installation or shipment.
- Work closely with designers, programmers, and installers to ensure production accuracy.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and product quality.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience (router, knife cutter, laser, or similar equipment preferred).
- Ability to work with CAD drawings, templates, design and production software
- Experience with industry standard CAD & Design software
- Experience measuring with precision tools such as calipers, tape measures, and squares.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable transportation, attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marine manufacturing or yacht outfitting.
- Familiarity with CNC & Design software or similar CAD/CAM programs.
- Experience cutting EVA foam, synthetic teak decking, acrylic, HDPE, PVC, StarBoard®, aluminum composite panels, or vinyl.
- Operate a forklift & material handling equipment
- Experience operating vacuum table CNC routers or oscillating knife cutters.

Equipment Care
- Clean machines daily, inspect tooling, report maintenance concerns, and keep the work area organized. See cleaning log daily to check off the area and machine are clean and area is SAFE and CLEAN for next day operations.
· Safety Requirements
· Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, closed-toe non-slip shoes, appropriate gloves when handling materials ad any additional PPE required. Never bypass safety guards. Keep loose clothing, jewelry, and long hair secured.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
