Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to become a key part of our bustling kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking menu items following established recipes and standards.
- Support meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and organizing supplies.
- Help with food handling practices to ensure safety and quality during all stages of meal prep.
- Follow proper knife skills for slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients accurately.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing and serving food as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills such as menu planning, food presentation, or catering support.
