Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician, where you'll play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to ensure peak performance
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for precise installation and repair work
- Perform service calls involving appliance repair, property maintenance, plumbing connections, and equipment repairs
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to identify issues and execute repairs efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards by properly handling refrigerants like ammonia refrigeration and adhering to environmental regulations
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system modifications for client files and future reference
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, and boiler systems
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately
- Familiarity with field service operations including appliance repair and property maintenance tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a <PERSON> driver vehicle preferred
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R safety protocols is highly desirable
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with equipment repair is essential
- Mechanical or technical training certification related to HVAC or refrigeration is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
