Hi,
We are currently hiring a lathe set up machinist. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to learn and expand their experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under supervision, set-up and operate one or more CNC Lathes.
- Operate secondary equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary.
- Using defined processes and prescribed operation sequences, operate one or more CNC machines to close tolerance to achieve quality specifications. Producing moderate to moderately complex components.
- This could include adjustments to tooling, machines, and/or part programs.
- During the machining cycle, perform your own part inspection using a broad range of precision inspection equipment.
- Simultaneous to CNC machining operation, perform a variety of secondary operations as required.
- Maintain the highest degree of safety always.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Some machine shop experience
- Vocational trade’s high school diploma or equivalent, formal trades apprenticeship preferred.
- Personal computer knowledge desired.
- Live tooling experience
- 3-5 years experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
