Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, enhancing the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks as needed, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Help with setting up dining spaces for special events or catering functions.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs.
- Uphold health and safety standards by following proper cleaning procedures and food handling protocols.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks comfortably.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards.
- A friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills that make guests feel welcome.
- Experience working in hotels or the food industry is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
