Sylvester Middle School is seeking an Interventionist ISS to join our team of educators for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year!
SUMMARY: The position of Interventionist provides differentiated supplemental instruction, monitors academic progress, and modifies instruction in order to increase student success. The interventionist works cooperatively with other staff and administrators to understand, collaboratively plan for, and deliver effective practice based on research and data analysis. To facilitate effective school-wide delivery models, the interventionist may assist with the management of formative assessments and support the implementation of building systems.
Required Qualifications:

Current Washington State Teacher's certificate with appropriate subject area endorsement(s)
Preferred Qualifications:

Three (3) years' experience teaching in a diverse, multicultural K-12 educational environment that includes work with special needs students

Someone who is highly organized, student centered, and has experience with restorative practices or conflict resolution.
