MUST HAVE PREVIOUS COMMERCIAL POOL REPAIR TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE TO APPLY
Commercial Pool Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Follow all procedures and standards as set forth by GHPM
- Consistently meet and or exceed efficiency standards
- Must meet all job completion deadlines with the utmost efficiency and cleanliness
- Adhere to all deadlines of department paperwork
- Abide and follow all OSHA standards and maintain regular knowledge of MSDS
- All other duties as assigned
- A minimum of 1 year experience in the commercial pool industry
- Residential Appliance Installer License a plus
- Experience in plumbing up to 10”
- CPO/AFO Certification a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Proficient knowledge in pump room operations and water chemistry
- Extensive knowledge of repair and electrical operation including diagnostics
- Possess a valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record
- Experience with chemical automation
- Experience in utilizing the current Houston Code Chapter 43 Swimming pools
- Able to meet efficiency standards of job completion
- Experience in concrete work
- Able to inlay tile and lay tile line
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Work well under pressure
- Able to install and repair slides and dive stands
- Knowledge of Personal Interactive Water Feature (PIWF) and Virginia Graham Baker Act
- Experience in Texas Department of State Health Service Standards for Swimming Pools
- Requires background checks and drugs tests
