Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and merchandising products at mobile market locations to attract customers and maximize sales opportunities
- Ride along to different market sites, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to promote products, answer questions, and upsell items effectively
- Perform heavy lifting of merchandise and supplies using safe lifting practices to maintain stock levels and display setups
- Apply pricing strategies accurately and communicate product value clearly to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Maintain organized records of inventory, sales transactions, and route schedules for efficient operations
- Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading/unloading, and merchandising activities to ensure a secure work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques and upselling strategies to boost revenue
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely while following proper lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members effectively
