Gillmann Services is hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for commercial construction projects throughout the Columbus, Ohio area. We are seeking dependable craftsmen who take pride in producing high-quality concrete work while maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Place, level, and finish concrete on commercial construction projects.
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power finishing tools.
- Edge, joint, broom, and texture concrete to project specifications.
- Set grades and check elevations for proper finish.
- Assist with concrete pours, curing, and protection procedures.
- Read and follow construction drawings and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work effectively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial concrete finishing experience.
- Experience with slabs, sidewalks, curbs, foundations, or structural concrete.
- Ability to operate concrete finishing tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
