Overview
Brooksource is seeking an experienced Senior Agile Program Manager / Scrum Master to support enterprise-level technology initiatives for one of our clients. This individual will be responsible for leading complex IT programs consisting of multiple interconnected projects while serving as an Agile leader across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management expertise, deep Agile and Scrum experience, and the ability to partner with both technical and business stakeholders to drive successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage one or more highly complex, enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects and workstreams.
• Develop and execute program strategies, business cases, roadmaps, and high-level project plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive successful delivery of project portfolios by ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.
• Track project milestones, monitor risks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful program execution.
• Establish program governance processes, reporting structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide regular status updates to IT leadership, business stakeholders, and project teams regarding project health, resource utilization, schedules, risks, and milestones.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities that leverage technology to achieve enterprise objectives.
• Coordinate efforts across multiple engineering, development, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Manage technical service engineering programs and ensure projects meet broader service and product objectives.
• Identify delivery risks and drive mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering and deployment teams to ensure requirements, design considerations, and operational needs are incorporated into solutions.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure Scrum principles, values, and practices are effectively implemented.
• Coach teams and individuals on Agile methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and servant leadership.
• Ensure proper utilization of Scrum processes and remove obstacles that impede team progress.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience within Agile environments.
• Current Project Management certification (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) required.
• Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master and leading Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and project management best practices.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and complex enterprise programs.
• Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, track KPIs, and drive successful project delivery.
• Experience communicating effectively with executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or similar).
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology transformations.
• Experience working with engineering, infrastructure, software development, or technical service delivery teams.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms.

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
