Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using auto body repair techniques.
- Utilize MIG and TIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels.
- Fabricate and shape sheet metal components using fabrication repair techniques to match original specifications.
- Operate power tools, sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other hand tools to prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing.
- Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs such as auto painting, auto body refinishing, and detailing to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as auto parts installation and basic mechanical repairs when needed.
- Follow safety protocols while working with automotive welding equipment and heavy lifting tasks to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members on auto estimating and customer service to provide clear communication about repair processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision center or Custom Car Shop.
- Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, and auto restoration techniques.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Familiarity with automotive parts installation, auto painting, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair processes. Metal shaping tools a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive repair procedures.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and automotive welding equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other liked skilled technicians.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
