The Riviera Country Club is looking for a Line Cook/Prep Cook.
The tradition of the Riviera Country Club has been to provide a second home to its large family of members since its inception in 1945. The Club is a gathering place of members, their family, friends, and business employees. The Riviera Country Club has a proud history of social events and tradition, ranging from seasonal balls, celebrated golf and tennis tournaments, the popular and unique Art Show, and a year-long series of holiday celebrations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation & plating of food according to our Club's recipes.
- Fill in as needed on any station, and be very versatile and efficient.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years' prior kitchen experience working in a restaurant or club required.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays and split shifts.
- The candidate will be required to complete both a Food Handlers Certification and Responsible Vendors Certification.
- The candidate must have English language skills to clearly communicate verbally with members, guests, supervisors, and co-workers. Spanish language skills are a benefit.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
