CDL Driver / Lumber Yard Associate
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver / Lumber Yard Associate to join our team. This is a flexible position that combines delivery driving responsibilities with yard and manufacturing support duties as business needs require.
CDL Driver Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to job sites using a semi flatbed, tandem flatbed, and occasionally a smaller delivery truck.
- Safely operate a Moffett lift (truck-mounted forklift) for loading and unloading materials.
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues, shortages, or claims to the Dispatch and Warehouse Manager.
- Use company delivery applications to document deliveries and upload photos.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and storing materials.
- Assist customers with material pickups
- Pull and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all CDL regulations, company safety policies, and DOT requirements.
- Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL driver's license.
- Current DOT medical certification (DOT physical).
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating a Moffett lift (truck-mounted forklift) is a plus
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Lumber Yard Associate / Flex Responsibilities
When delivery demand is low, this position will assist with other operational needs, including:
- Supporting CDL drivers at other company locations.
- Assisting in manufacturing facilities as a yard hand.
- Operating forklifts and handling materials in the lumber yard.
- Performing general yard maintenance and organization.
- Assisting with additional duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
