Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CYI Teen Center Supervisor to lead and inspire youth in grades 6-12. In this paid role, you will oversee daily operations of the teen center, implement engaging activities, and foster a safe, inclusive environment for teenagers. Your leadership will empower young people to build skills, confidence, and community connections through innovative programming and supportive mentorship. Hours
- This is a flexible part-time position with hours that vary by season (in-school vs. summer) and Teen Center programming. "Typical" shifts include:
- Sundays 11 AM-6 PM
- Mondays-Fridays 11 AM(summer) / 2 PM(school year)-6 PM
- Saturdays as needed for facility rentals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the teen center, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all participants
- Kitchen duties include cleaning and food safety
- Operating the 4-lane bowling alley
- Attend local resource fairs to promote programs and build partnerships within the community
- Utilize social media platforms and marketing strategies to increase awareness of center activities and outreach efforts
- Collaborate with local organizations on fundraising initiatives and community events to support program sustainability
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising teams or managing volunteers in youth or community settings
- Knowledge of social media management and marketing techniques
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team building
