Summary:
The Project Assistant is to assist in the execution and finalization of projects in accordance with strict deadlines under the supervision of the Operations Team. The Project Assistant must coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors and/or consultants to simultaneously deliver administrative tasks in a timely manner. The Project Assistant exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Always represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM in the field / 8am-5pm in the office, Monday-Friday, or as needed to meet business needs.
Description of responsibilities:
- Handles associated communications documents and effectively communicates with team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Assist the General Superintendent with projects as assigned, problem solving, etc…
- Work with Human Resources to ensure up to date safety data / certifications.
- Maintains vendor/contractor communications concerning work scheduling, timely and accurate billings, and assists meeting project timelines and milestones.
- Plans, schedules, and regularly updates project timelines and milestones using appropriate specified tools. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations in a consistent, timely manner.
- Prepares and distributes daily project status reports and photographs required for internal and external stakeholders.
- Regularly travels between worksites and office location
- Other duties as assigned.
Required experience:
- Highschool Diploma
- Excellent communication, time management, multi-task prioritization and organizational skills
- Strong desire to work in the construction industry

Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Customer services oriented
- Proactive, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve potential issues or conflicts.
- Proficiency in use of a personal computer and software programs such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

Preferred skills / Certificates
- CPR / first Aid certified.
