Duties

- Cook a variety of dishes using proper techniques, including knife skills for precise food preparation
- Serve meals efficiently and courteously to guests or residents, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery
- Assist with food presentation, garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to streamline kitchen operations and improve overall service quality
Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience in the food industry, ideally within dietary departments or healthcare settings. Experience in dietary aide roles or working in fine dining environments is highly valued. A background in restaurant or catering services will provide a strong foundation for success. Skills in meal preparation, food handling, cooking techniques—including knife skills—and food safety are essential. Familiarity with menu planning and working within the constraints of special dietary requirements will set candidates apart.
