We are looking for an experienced technician who knows and loves either Audi/BMW/Mercedes/Porsche and/or VW to be part of our growing team that shares in our German automotive and Motorsport passion to perform local installations, service, diagnostics and repairs.
We strive to combine the passion of an independent shop with the professionalism of a dealership. We believe in a strong team environment and invest in team building events, clean and well lit facilities and top of the line Rotary lifts with custom ordered ultra-low arms to lift vehicles our German vehicles by the pinch welds. We have a Hunter Hawk Eye Elite alignment rack that has been set into the ground.
We specialize in the German brands and balance service and upgrades so that our technicians don't get burned out on monotonous jobs. We have a shop management system with individual calendars so our technicians know what to plan for each day. The shop management system is also digital so the customer can view the work orders with updates from the advisors and technicians in real time improving on response times and approvals.
We provide our clients with a personal touch and they are owners that love their cars. We are hoping to find technicians that want to do the job right and take pride in their work.

Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Perform multipoint inspections with photographs to support recommendations. Our clients are particular with their vehicles and want them in top shape. Our technicians outline current and future suggestions for upkeep and we have an extremely high approval rating.
+ Perform routine service and repair on German automobiles. We use a combination of AllData Pro, Motor 1 and OEM labor guides to determine labor times.
+ Our technicians are encouraged to suggest "while we are in here" preventative repairs or upgraded part options so our clients don't have to come back a few months later.
+ Install upgraded parts such as exhausts, brakes, intakes, intercoolers, wheels, coilovers, lowering/raising springs, etc.
+Mount & Balance Wheels & Tires (We use a Hunter Road Force Balancer and Mounting Machine)
+Perform precision Alignments (We have a Hunter Hawk-Eye Elite Alignment machine with in-ground Hunter Scissor Rack).
+Perform Basic Diagnosis
Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 3 years of work experience on European Automobiles -- Factory training or direct brand work experience required.
+ Mechanical aptitude, and a clear understanding of automotive technology, function, and design. In-depth knowledge of suspension, braking, exhaust, turbo, electrical, and engine/drivetrain system design and engineering principles.
+ Must be skilled with hand tools, as we primarily don't use air tools.
+ Flexible and teamwork-oriented attitude. Must work well with others in a professional and positive way. No big egos or "never wrong" attitudes, please.
+ Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail. + Ability to follow and embrace policies and procedures to ensure consistent department function and quality.
+ Passionate determination for what benefits the customer and the company as a whole, team player, and customer-focused.
+ Perform detailed records of work done, digitally and on paper.
+ Tech savvy: The new vehicles all require the use of high-end scan tools so a tech must have a solid understanding of diagnostic test plans and guided fault findings.
+ Ability to document their work with pictures and stories that are input into the web-based shop management program.
+ Must have a valid drivers license with good driving record. Based on the vehicles we service and the upgrades we install, our insurance company uses NEXIS/LEXIS reporting to perform driving record checks. Candidates may only have 1-2 minor moving violations in a 5 year span. Otherwise, we will be denied by our insurance company.
Pay Rate:
+ This opportunity for a highly motivated team player that we are willing to invest in based on their experience and performance. Our ideal candidate has worked in both the dealership and independent service facility. We have set a pay range for this advanced level technician but also have an additional opportunity available for an advanced level career technicians.
