About the job
The Lab Assistant supports the compounding labs operations by performing tasks such as conducting and maintaining key equipment, cleaning, stocking and ensuring a safe and organized lab environment.
Shift: Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, with availability from 6:00am-5:00pm if needed
Must have a valid California Pharmacy Tech License.
Hourly wage range: $22.00- $24.00
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Management
- Conducts milling/unguator/speedmixer/compounds entry level compounds per SOP
- Cleans dishes, sink area, floors and other areas as needed
- Manages inventory to ensure proper stock of chemicals/needed materials/equipment
Quality Customer Service
- Prescriptions are handled in a timely manner
- Works well in a team environment to achieve customer satisfaction
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and create a safe environment.
Ensures pharmacy laws and Policy & Procedures are followed
- Ensures proper procedures are handled according the company policy.
- Follow filling and compounding procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Follows HIPPA and Fraud Waste and Abuse regulations
- Completes assigned training within deadlines.
