- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Schedule service appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Prepare repair orders and obtain necessary approvals for repairs
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide estimates for repair costs and explain them to customers
- Assist customers with selecting appropriate services and products for their vehicles
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive service and repair processes is recommended, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with automotive service software systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
