Conestoga Park Apartments | Beaverton, Oregon
Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and sales-focused Leasing Associate to join the onsite team at Conestoga Park Apartments, a 270-unit garden-style community in Beaverton.
As a Leasing Associate, you will often be the first person prospective residents meet. You will guide them through the leasing process, showcase available apartment homes, answer questions, process applications, and help create an exceptional experience from the initial inquiry through move-in.
You will also support current residents and assist the onsite team with daily office operations. We’re seeking someone who brings professionalism, enthusiasm, organization, and a genuine interest in helping people find a place they are excited to call home.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing and Sales
- Respond promptly and professionally to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, online messaging, and in person.
- Conduct engaging property tours that highlight available apartments, community amenities, and neighborhood features.
- Learn the needs and preferences of each prospect and recommend apartment homes that meet their priorities.
- Follow up consistently with prospective residents and maintain accurate records of leasing activity.
- Process rental applications, collect required documentation, and communicate application updates.
- Prepare lease documents and coordinate lease signings.
- Assist with move-in scheduling and ensure new residents receive a welcoming and organized introduction to the community.
- Support the property’s occupancy and leasing goals through responsive communication and excellent customer service.
Marketing and Online Presence
- Maintain accurate information about available apartments, pricing, specials, and move-in dates.
- Assist with updating online listings, advertisements, photographs, and marketing materials.
- Monitor the appearance of model apartments, vacant units, the leasing office, and tour routes.
- Assist with resident events, outreach activities, and other efforts that support resident retention and community engagement.
- Help identify opportunities to improve leasing traffic and the prospective resident experience.
Resident Relations
- Build positive and professional relationships with current and prospective residents.
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact in the leasing office.
- Respond to routine resident questions and direct more complex concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Receive and document maintenance requests and communicate them to the maintenance team.
- Follow up with residents as needed to help ensure requests are addressed.
- Provide consistently friendly, respectful, and solution-oriented customer service.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate prospect, applicant, lease, and resident records.
- Prepare leasing documents, notices, correspondence, and move-in materials.
- Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
- Maintain an organized and professional leasing office.
- Accept resident payments and provide receipts when required.
- Assist the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with reports, filing, communications, and other administrative tasks.
- Handle personal and financial information with accuracy and confidentiality.
Property Presentation
- Walk available apartments, model units, and tour routes before scheduled appointments.
- Help ensure apartments and common areas are clean, welcoming, and ready to show.
- Report maintenance, cleanliness, landscaping, or safety concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the leasing office and model apartments.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, property management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- A friendly and professional communication style.
- Confidence speaking with prospective residents and conducting property tours.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple leads, applications, appointments, and administrative tasks.
- A dependable and self-motivated approach to work.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative onsite team.
- Comfort using property management software, email, online advertising platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AppFolio and Tenant Tech is preferred but not required.
- The ability to work weekends or adjusted hours as needed to support leasing activity.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
