Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel/ Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding, fabrication, maintaining, repairing trailers and ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Duties:
- Perform brake repairs and maintenance
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
- Repair and maintain industrial equipment attached to trailers
- Handle heavy lifting tasks related to trailer maintenance
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on trailers
- Utilize hand tools to complete repairs and adjustments
- Work on shocks, struts, and other suspension components
- Interpret schematics to diagnose and repair trailer systems
- Conduct equipment repairs as needed
-Weld and fabricate repairs as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service related to maintenance is preferred
- Proficiency in brake repair and maintenance for trailers
- Knowledge of industrial equipment commonly used with trailers
- Ability to handle heavy lifting required for trailer maintenance tasks
- Experience in vehicle maintenance
- Proficient in using hand tools for repair work
- Familiarity with shocks, struts, and suspension components of trailers
- Ability to interpret schematics for troubleshooting and repairs
- Previous experience in welding and fabricating trailer equipment repair.
