Irvine Youth Soccer league (IYSL) Offers recreational soccer for kids ages 4-12 in the Irvine, CA area. We are looking to hire a few enthusiastic youth soccer coaches to help us run sessions at our Irvine locations. While no experience is necessary, we would like candidates to understand the game of soccer and enjoy working with kids. We offer rewarding work in a positive environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and will be committed to helping kids have fun while they learn the fundamentals of soccer.
Requirements:
- 4:30-7:00/8:00 PM Monday-Friday (Flexible Schedule. Do not need to be available every day)
Responsibilities:
- Instruct groups of 6-12 players in youth soccer activities.
- Demonstrate proper form and technique while running your sessions.
- Implement specialized training curriculum with drill flexibility.
- As a small sided based program, emphasizing the importance of triangles and how to play within 3v3 - 6v6 sided soccer.
- Ensure programs are effective, safe, and fun.
- Help kids achieve their soccer and fitness goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a youth soccer coach preferred, not required.
- Experience as a soccer player preferred.
- Ability to train boys and girls ages 4-12 at beginner/intermediate/advanced skill levels.
- Passion for youth soccer and kids.
- Ability to build rapport with players and provide a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and showcase a sense of urgency within your work.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
