About Cool Clean Technologies
Cool Clean Technologies is an engineering-driven manufacturer specializing in liquid CO2 (LCO2) cleaning and decontamination systems, CO2 spray deburring, and PPE decontamination technology. We design and fabricate specialized industrial equipment for highly regulated industries—from healthcare to federal and defense applications. As we scale production, we're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to bring structure, consistency, and operational excellence to how we source, stock, and procure the components that go into our systems.
The Role
We're hiring a Supply Chain Manager to own procurement and inventory end to end. You'll be the critical link between engineering and purchasing, taking complex, multi-level bills of materials (BOMs) for engineered pressure systems and translating them into actionable purchasing plans, stocking strategies, and vendor orders. Success in this role means our parts inventory is always aligned with our sales projections and build schedule — no production-down stockouts, no cash tied up in excess inventory.
This role requires someone equally comfortable reading an engineering drawing and negotiating with a vendor. You'll need technical fluency to understand what a part is and why it matters, the organizational discipline to manage inventory data accurately, and the relationship skills to build a dependable supplier base.
What You'll Do
- Interpret engineering BOMs for complex, engineered-to-order systems (including high-pressure vessels and CO2 cleaning assemblies) and translate them into purchasing requirements and stocking plans.
- Set and maintain inventory parameters -minimum stock levels, reorder points, economic order quantities, and safety stock -for hundreds of components across multiple product lines.
- Manage the reordering process- issuing purchase orders in a timely manner and ensuring parts arrive to support the production schedule.
- Own vendor relationships -source and qualify suppliers, negotiate pricing and lead times, manage performance, and develop backup sources for critical or long-lead components.
- Align inventory with demand by working closely with sales and production to translate sales projections and the build pipeline into forward-looking material requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory data in our ERP system (SAP Business One) and coordinate across tools used by the business (e.g., Monday.com).
- Manage lead times and risk for specialized and long-lead materials (e.g., engineered polymers, pressure components, custom-fabricated parts).
- Support cost control through sourcing strategy, order consolidation, and inventory optimization.
- Partner with engineering, fabrication, and quality to ensure purchased parts meet spec and support compliance requirements (e.g., ASME/CRN-relevant components).
What We're Looking For-Required
- Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical/Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or production support
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or materials management in a manufacturing environment — ideally engineered-to-order, low-volume/high-mix, or custom fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents — engineering BOMs, drawings, and specifications — and translate them into purchasing actions.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with a track record of building reliable supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to set inventory parameters (min/max, reorder points, safety stock) and manage them with discipline.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the data hygiene needed to keep inventory records accurate.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP Business One is a plus) and spreadsheets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across engineering, sales, and production.
Preferred -Nice to Have
- Engineering-minded professional with strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex mechanical systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience purchasing components for pressure vessels, HVAC/refrigeration systems, fluid/gas systems, or specialized materials (e.g., PEEK, Vespel, engineered polymers).
- Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven manufacturing environments (ASME, CRN, DoD/federal, medical, or similarly controlled industries).
- Experience aligning procurement activities with sales forecasts, production schedules, inventory requirements, and demand planning.
- APICS/CPIM, CPSM, or similar supply chain certification preferred.
Why Join Us
- Own the supply chain function end to end and make a direct, visible impact on our ability to grow.
- Work on genuinely novel, engineering-intensive products in a growing niche of industrial CO2 and decontamination technology.
- Small technical team where your work matters and your ideas are heard.
