About the Role
This isn’t a traditional Operations Manager position.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to help manage the company’s daily operations while building the operational foundation of a rapidly growing retail business.
Your job will be to transform ideas into organized, repeatable systems that every location can follow.
You will oversee employees, store operations, sales performance, inventory, hiring, training, scheduling, projects, and operational improvements.
We need someone who can take ownership, solve problems independently, and make sure things get done.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForStore & Company Operations
- Oversee and support operations across multiple store locations.
- Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Standardize operations across all locations.
- Create systems that reduce mistakes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct store visits and operational audits.
- Ensure company procedures and standards are consistently followed.
- Coordinate store needs, deliveries, maintenance, and operational issues.
- Assist with new store openings and expansion projects.
- Maintain high standards for store organization, cleanliness, and presentation.
Team Management & HR
- Create and manage employee schedules and store coverage.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Monitor employee performance.
- Coach and develop employees and store managers.
- Address performance or operational issues when necessary.
- Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures.
- Help build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Sales Leadership
- Monitor daily and weekly sales goals.
- Review sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coach store teams on sales techniques and customer experience.
- Improve average transaction value through bundles, recommendations, and sales strategies.
- Train employees to consistently execute the Cavazos sales process.
- Develop ideas and strategies to increase store performance.
Inventory & Warehouse
- Help build and improve inventory management systems.
- Improve replenishment and purchasing processes.
- Reduce inventory shortages and overstock.
- Monitor inventory accuracy across locations.
- Coordinate product distribution and deliveries.
- Work closely with warehouse employees and store teams.
Wholesale & CRM
- Help implement and manage HubSpot CRM.
- Organize and improve wholesale processes.
- Track leads and follow-up activities.
- Help develop scalable sales and customer follow-up workflows.
- Identify potential wholesale opportunities.
Leadership & Project Management
- Work directly with the CEO and leadership team.
- Hold managers and employees accountable for KPIs and assigned responsibilities.
- Participate in and help lead weekly operations meetings.
- Follow up on company projects and deadlines.
- Ensure projects are completed correctly and on time.
- Identify problems before they become larger operational issues.
- Continuously look for ways to make the company more efficient, organized, and profitable.

Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- 3+ years of leadership, management, retail operations, HR, or similar experience preferred.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, email, POS systems, scheduling platforms, reports, and CRM software.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Must be willing to travel between company locations.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Multi-location retail or multi-unit management experience is highly valued.
Preferred Experience
We especially welcome applicants with experience in high-volume or multi-location businesses such as H-E-B, Whole Foods, Costco, Target, Buc-ee’s, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, multi-location retail businesses, or multi-unit restaurant operations.
Experience helping a growing business implement new systems, improve operations, manage employees, or increase sales is highly valued.
Compensation & Growth
Starting Base Salary: $800/week
