Our Gilbert office is looking for a full time assistant (Tuesday-Friday, Saturday mornings as needed) that is dependable, friendly, and loves making our patients feel their absolute best.
PAY RATE: $20-$27 (depending on experience) w/ BONUS OPPORTUNITIES

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Dental Assisting experience
- Skilled in making temporaries, packing cord, taking impressions
- X-ray certified
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Implant & oral surgery experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, with precision and care.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols.
- Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques to maintain clinical confidentiality policies.
- Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including documenting medical history, vital signs, and treatment notes.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Support patient management software operations by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and assisting with coding as needed.
- Uphold infection control standards through proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience with dental x-ray procedures and the operation of dental equipment such as 3D scanners and digital imaging systems.
- Accurate record keeping and patient management.
- Knowledge of infection prevention management practices including aseptic technique and healthcare infection control expertise.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring a positive experience.
- Demonstrated ability to follow clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive medical documentation.
