Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5pm, when required, must be available to work weekends, holiday's, and special events.
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 plus annual bonus based on performance, health insurance, annual PTO.
About the Role
This role is focused on ensuring drivers are prepared, supported, and set up for success each day.
You will serve as the primary onsite point of contact for microtransit drivers - helping manage attendance, resolving real-time issues, and supporting overall service reliability. This is a highly operational, people-focused role where you’ll be working closely with drivers and coordinating with & reporting to the local Operations Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations for the driver workforce, including attendance tracking and dispatch readiness
- Act as the first point of contact for driver questions, issues, and support needs
- Respond quickly to real-time operational issues, including callouts, delays, or driver concerns
- Coordinate scheduling adjustments, PTO requests, and shift coverage in collaboration with Via’s team
- Monitor driver compliance with uniform, safety, and operational standards
- Support onboarding of new drivers, including orientation, documentation, and readiness for dispatch
- Provide basic coaching and feedback to drivers to support performance and customer service expectations
- Assist with incident response, including documentation of accidents, complaints, or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance notes, and compliance-related items
- Partner with Artēs recruiting and operations teams to support ongoing hiring and workforce stability
Who You Are
- At least 3 years of experience in operations-based role, or a related field
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with frontline employees
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track multiple moving pieces
- Problem-solver mindset with the ability to respond quickly and calmly in real-time situations
- Reliable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over daily operations
- Comfortable working fully onsite and being present in the field as needed
