Note: This role requires 2–4 weeks of paid training in Columbus, Ohio prior to starting in Richmond.
About the Role
As an Field Operations Lead – Richmond, VA , you'll independently install blinds and manage medium-difficulty commercial installation projects. You’ll be a key player in building our reputation at this new location, supported by structured training and hands-on mentorship.
Responsibilities

Lead on-site installations for commercial window treatment projects.

Organize and maintain a warehouse space and inventory of blinds.

Accurately read blueprints and interpret manufacturer specifications.

Measure, cut, and shorten blinds as needed for a perfect fit.

Maintain a clean, professional work environment on site.

Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.

Complete job site reports documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Travel to surrounding regions for jobs as needed.

Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications

Window treatment installation experience strongly preferred.

At least 6–12 months of related installation or construction experience.

Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team is a plus.

Comfortable using power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and measuring equipment.

Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Education

High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Regular use of ladders and scaffolding at varying heights.

Comfortable working at heights and in physically active conditions.

Occasional evenings/weekends based on project timelines.
