Our Spanish immersion early childhood classroom team is seeking a caring, flexible, and collaborative person to support the teachers by supervising playground time, lunch, and nap (using Spanish in all of your interactions with the children). Creating strong relationships with children through these activities helps them feel safe, learn the Spanish language, and be more successful in their lessons.
In the afternoon, your responsibilities will change as you join the after school team to provide enriching activities after school in a safe, calm, and caring classroom with another after school teacher. Our after school program is in English. Our ideal candidate is open to learning about the Montessori approach to create an after school environment that supports the children throughout the day.

IMS fosters a collaborative, respectful, diverse environment where teachers and families of many cultures, languages, backgrounds, and lived experiences come together in a supportive and engaging community. The key feedback we receive from our staff is how much they appreciate and enjoy their colleagues and our families. Our families rave about our teachers and the school community we nurture. We offer our staff attentive administrative support, competitive wages and benefits including paid time off, health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition discounts, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and growing community of international educators.
Our school provides immersion programs in Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese for approximately 200 students from 18 months to 14 years old. Our toddler program is in English.
