Construction Permit Consulting firm specializing in the overall approval process for commercial real estate development throughout the Long Island area. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Permit Specialist/Expediter. In this position, the employee should possess knowledge of various municipal approval processes, municipal zoning code regulations, general construction practices, etc. Desired qualifications are as follows:
- Understand basic construction-related terms and ability to read and review construction-related documents (Civil Site Plans, Architectural Plans, Zoning Code, etc.);
- Organizational and time-management skills;
- Educational background or experience in construction-related activities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Proficient with MS Office, word, excel, etc.;
- Superior customer service skills with high energy and motivation;
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License are required.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
