We're looking for a Division Merchandise Manager who thrives on turning insights into action and driving results across multiple regions. In this highly visible role, you'll be responsible for optimizing merchandising performance, enhancing the guest experience, and partnering with field and store leadership to deliver sales growth, improve margins, and maintain strong in-stock conditions. This is a unique opportunity to blend analytics, strategic planning, field partnership, and leadership development while influencing merchandising execution across a large division of stores. As a Division Merchandise Manager, you'll serve as a key link between Merchandising, Store Operations, Field Leadership, and vendor partners to ensure our stores are positioned for success.
Drive Business Performance
- Analyze sales, unit, margin, and inventory performance to identify opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Division Vice Presidents, Regional Directors, and District Managers to improve sales growth, profitability, and execution.
- Review monthly and quarterly P&L performance and provide strategic recommendations to address business challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of company-wide merchandising strategies and initiatives.
Optimize Merchandising Execution
- Support the development of Core and DSD merchandising layouts that maximize in-stock performance, enhance product placement, and align assortments to local customer needs.
- Ensure promotional products and seasonal programs are effectively executed to drive engagement and sales.
- Identify merchandising opportunities that improve the overall guest experience and strengthen store performance.
Lead Cross-Functional Partnerships
- Collaborate closely with Store Operations, Category Management, Store Support teams, and the Director of Field Merchandising to align execution with divisional priorities.
- Facilitate monthly business reviews with DSD vendors and field leadership, creating alignment, sharing best practices, and addressing opportunities.
- Serve as the primary merchandising contact for new store and acquisition openings, coordinating product execution, vendor deliveries, pricing, and planogram support.
Develop Future Leaders
- Build strong relationships with Store Managers, District Managers, and Regional Directors to support business goals and operational excellence.
- Mentor District Managers within assigned regions, helping develop future merchandising and operational leaders.
- Support field training and development initiatives that strengthen merchandising execution and business performance.

Compensation:
Starting pay range: $112,300 - $158,400. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance and an annual equity grant in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience as a Regional Merchandise Manager at a similar company.
- At least nine years of progressive leadership of multi-district retail operations experience within a convenience, grocery, or similar fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge in marketing and merchandising concepts and vendor relationship management.
- Builds and sustains high-impact relationships with divisional leadership, regional managers, and key vendor partners through transparency, strategic alignment, and mutual accountability.
- Confident and influential communicator across all organizational levels, capable of driving divisional initiatives and aligning teams around shared goals.
- Advanced expertise in merchandise financial planning with a proven ability to lead multiple regional teams in achieving divisional sales, margin, and inventory goals.
- Strategic problem-solver with a data-driven mindset, capable of identifying divisional trends and implementing scalable, long-term solutions.
- Travel required to ensure progress of overall merchandising strategy. Must possess a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.
