Bar West is looking for a friendly, organized, and hospitality-driven Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. Our Hosts play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment guests walk through the door.
The ideal candidate is personable, confident, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while balancing guest needs, table flow, reservations, and communication with the rest of the team.
Responsibilities:
* Greet every guest warmly and professionally
* Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments
* Maintain an organized and efficient flow of the dining room
* Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff
* Accurately quote wait times and keep guests updated
* Escort guests to tables and provide menus
* Maintain a clean and welcoming host stand and entryway
* Assist the team with additional tasks as needed
* Create a positive and memorable first and last impression for every guest
What we’re looking for:

* Reliable, punctual, and dependable
* Professional and positive attitude
* Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required
