Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) to lead our quick service and fast food restaurant operations in Blountstown, Florida. The ideal candidate will oversee daily restaurant functions, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive operational excellence. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in food service management, team supervision, and hospitality operations. The GM will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency while fostering a positive environment for staff and customers alike. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure a motivated and skilled team
- Maintain inventory control through effective stock management and ordering processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Supervise cash handling procedures and utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis
- Lead shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified staff to build a strong team culture
- Implement training programs focused on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes excellent customer experiences and repeat business
Requirements:
- Proven management experience within quick service or fast food restaurants; supervising experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage diverse teams
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage budgets effectively
- Strong communication skills for staff training, customer interactions, and team coordination
- Prior experience in restaurant management or food service industry roles is essential
