Task involve, but are not limited to:
- Conduct patient assessments/evaluations to determine speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide speech therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in speech therapy practices
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pediatrics
- Previous experience working with pediatric patients preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
- Ability to assess and diagnose various speech and language disorders
- Experience in case management and coordination of care for complex cases
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
