About the Position
California Suites Hotel is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding guest service.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring smooth daily hotel operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Check guests in and out efficiently.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Make reservations and process payments.
- Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns professionally.
- Balance cash drawer and complete shift reports.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest requests.
- Monitor the lobby and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures while providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel management software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
