Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
- Educate customers about product features, effects, and usage through engaging product demos
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items and promoting new or featured products
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and manage stock levels accurately
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely
- Assist with basic cashiering duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Support in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions is advantageous
- Basic math skills necessary for sales transactions and stock management
