We're looking for a Portfolio Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of luxury homes, serve as the trusted advisor for our homeowners, and ensure every property consistently delivers an exceptional owner and guest experience.
This isn't a role for someone who simply reacts to maintenance requests or manages a checklist.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates problems before they happen, communicates exceptionally well, and genuinely enjoys caring for people and their homes.

About the Role
As a Portfolio Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of luxury vacation homes.
You'll build trusted relationships with homeowners while working alongside our maintenance, housekeeping, guest experience, marketing, and revenue management teams to ensure every home performs at the highest level.
Your success will be measured not only by how well you solve problems—but by how often you prevent them.
What You'll Own
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of luxury homeowners.
- Build trust through proactive communication, transparency, and exceptional service.
- Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become costly problems.
- Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, seasonal preparations, and vendor management.
- Ensure every home consistently meets Host & Home's quality standards.
- Work closely with our Revenue Management team to maximize each home's performance while protecting the owner's long-term investment.
- Identify opportunities for maintenance, upgrades, renovations, and capital improvement projects that improve the guest experience and increase long-term property value.
- Confidently present recommendations to homeowners, educate them on the value of proposed improvements, and help them make informed decisions.
- Coordinate approved projects with our internal maintenance team and outside vendors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Host & Home standards.
- Oversee homeowner onboarding and ensure new homes launch successfully.
- Resolve challenges quickly while maintaining outstanding owner satisfaction.
- Continuously look for ways to improve systems, processes, and the overall homeowner experience.

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, facilities management, construction management, luxury service, project management, or a related field.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or maintenance projects.
- Confidence presenting recommendations and building trusted client relationships.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with technology and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Vacation rental experience is a plus—but not required.
We're much more interested in hiring someone with exceptional ownership, professionalism, communication skills, and hospitality instincts than someone with years of vacation rental experience.
