Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This person will be scheduled Friday, Saturday & Sunday 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and occasionally 3rd shift (11pm-7am) as needed. Days could vary week to week.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Process reservations and cancellations accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
Skills:
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel management software is advantageous
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to handle various guest situations effectively
