POSITION PURPOSE:
To aid the clinical staff with group facilitation and other duties as listed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
1. EDUCATION:
Master's Degree Required
2. EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1-year group facilitation
3. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
CSAC or CSAC Supervisee preferred
4. KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:
- Ability to respond in a professional, ethical way, including cultural responsiveness.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality, respect, and empathy.
- Ongoing development of group curriculum, implementation, and maintaining material accessibility.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Redirect when appropriate and if necessary
- Present material in different methods to accommodate any potential barriers.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
- Responsible for starting groups on time.
- Responsible for performing the group within the guidelines of curriculum.
- Responsible for taking clinical notes.
- Responsible for reporting any critical information to client-therapist.
- Assist with client phone calls.
- Training BHTs to lead/co-facilitate groups and complete timely documentation of groups.
- Maintain group space to support an environment of recovery.
- Work with the Clinical Director to develop and adjust the programming schedule as needed.
- Encourage active client engagement, keep the group on-task, and guide the discussions within the group to remain recovery-oriented.
- Manage conflicts or disagreements that may arise during group.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
