Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse for an 8-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be highly independent in multiple surgical specialties and possess strong perioperative experience in an ambulatory surgery setting.
Responsibilities
- Circulate surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile operating room environment.
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum 7 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
- Peri-Op 101 Certification (Required).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to work independently in the following specialties:
- Urology
- Vascular Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Pain Management
- Spine
- Ophthalmology (Eyes)
- Plastic Surgery
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
