Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hospitality spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to health and safety guidelines.
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and notify management when replenishments are needed.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures to uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with hospitality or janitorial protocols.
- Assist with light laundry duties or linen management as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial roles is highly desirable.
- Experience working in hotels or hospitality environments is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
