General Description
The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition to support Chesley Brown International’s operational and leadership staffing needs. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified security personnel, support staff, and management candidates. The Recruiter maintains active talent pipelines, ensures compliance with all hiring and licensing requirements, and partners closely with Regional and Security Directors to meet staffing goals that drive client satisfaction and company growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition

Manage full-cycle recruiting, including posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, background processing, and onboarding.

Maintain strong pipelines for security officers (armed/unarmed), supervisors, and leadership roles.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to the security industry.
Compliance & Hiring Standards

Ensure candidates meet all company and client requirements, including licensing, credential verification, background checks, and state regulations.
- Enter new hire information directly into the HRIS once an offer has been accepted, ensuring accurate and timely employee records.
- Coordinate with the Accounting team, which finalizes benefits enrollment, payroll setup, and other post-hire processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with relevant departments to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding.
Partnership & Collaboration

Collaborate with Security Directors, HR Generalists, and operational leaders to forecast staffing needs and align recruiting priorities.

Represent Chesley Brown International at hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.

Maintain relationships with external agencies, workforce development partners, and referral networks.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Maintain and track key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline activity.

Partner with leadership to evaluate turnover trends and retention strategies

Recommend process improvements based on data insights to enhance recruiting efficiency.
Decision-Making Authority

Recommend candidates for hire based on qualifications, licensing, and compliance standards.

Select sourcing strategies and identify appropriate talent pools.

Extend conditional job offers within company-approved parameters and compensation bands.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

2–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in security, service industry, or high-volume operations.

Knowledge of licensing, credentials, and compliance requirements for security officers is a plus.

Experience using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics strongly preferred.
