Mike's Heating and Air, Inc. is hiring experienced commercial/residential installers. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. This is a permanent full-time position with an opportunity to gain experience, new skills and advance your career. We work on 100 ton package units to mini splits, VRF systems, boilers, chillers, energy management systems (EMS), water source heat pumps and more. Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience is necessary, any experience in other trades is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read plans and specs.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, in attics, crawl spaces, and on roofs
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Results driven in a high energy environment
- Attention to detail
- Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image
- Provide exceptional customer service while on the jobsite
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to remove and install ducts, furnaces, condensers, package units, hangers, piping, and other equipment
- Work as a team and assist other installers as needed to complete tasks
- Meet and maintain the high company standards of workmanship and professionalism
- Analyze and perform on work orders; gather components, parts, and tools needed to complete the installation.
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records
- Maintain client relations by giving remarkable service with strong communication and customer service skills
- Update knowledge by being a lifelong student and participating in educational opportunities
